HIGH water levels left the Thames path at Richmond partially flooded on Sunday afternoon.
An ice cream seller was carrying cones up the grassy bank to customers at one point as his van was partially submerged in water.
Drinkers at the White Cross pub were temporarily stranded - always a popular location to become stranded at a high tide - as the rising water left them cut off.
The Environment Agency had earlier issued a flood warning for the riverside from Putney Bridge to Teddington Weir.
