New Lord Mayor of London arrives on Gloriana

THE NEW Lord Mayor of London came down the Thames this morning on the Queen’s row barge Gloriana.

Alan Yarrow, who took office yesterday in the Silent Ceremony at Guildhall, boarded Gloriana at Westminster Boating Base this morning and was rowed down river alongside a flotilla of traditional Thames craft.
