CRUISE ship Silver Cloud arrived in London yesterday afternoon for the last of her four visits to the capital this year. A NEW bitumen terminal in Kent received its first visitor on Saturday morning. Dartford-based FM Conway have developed the new terminal on the old Imperial Wharf site in Gravesend. Quark Expeditions’ SEA SPIRIT entered Tilbury docks last weekend. The 90m “luxury expedition vessel” takes passengers to destinations such as the Arctic and the Antarctic. After a lay up at Tilbury, her next schedule trip is to Spitsbergen in June. While I was waiting for SEA SPIRIT, I grabbed a photo of sailing boat POSH TOTTY as she passed.
