The Emirates Air Line cable car opened on June 28th 2012 and forms a unique crossing across the river.
The cable car operates between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks, carrying passengers 90 metres high over the river.
Three pylons span the 1km long crossing with the gondolas are stored at the North Greenwich side.
Pedestrians and cyclists with bikes are able to use the cable car, which is operated by Transport for London.
