Quark Expeditions’ SEA SPIRIT entered Tilbury docks last weekend. The 90m “luxury expedition vessel” takes passengers to destinations such as the Arctic and the Antarctic. ARCHER-class patrol vessel HMS TRUMPETER was inbound this morning, passing cruise ship MARCO POLO at the Tilbury landing stage. TRUMPETER came in with sister vessel HMS SMITER and passed outbound HMS PUNCHER in the estuary. The two inbound vessels were heading for the Royal Naval reservists base HMS President which is where PUNCHER had departed from earlier in the morning.
